Epoxy Mortar Overlayment Systems
Rebuild worn and damaged slabs into a thick, high-strength floor that takes a beating.
Request a QuoteEpoxy Mortar Overlayment Systems — epoxy mortar overlays built for how your building actually works.
Epoxy mortar overlays combine epoxy resin with graded aggregate into a trowel-applied system that can be built up to significant thickness. That makes it the right answer for concrete that is too worn, pitted, or uneven for a thin coating — it rebuilds the surface profile while adding serious impact and abrasion resistance.
These systems are common in heavy manufacturing, loading docks, ramps, and any area where dropped tooling, hard-wheeled traffic, and point loading destroy ordinary floors. A sealer or topcoat finishes the surface for chemical resistance and cleanability.
Why Epoxy Mortar Overlay?
Rebuilds Damaged Concrete
Fills, levels, and resurfaces worn or spalled slabs — no full slab replacement required.
High-Build Impact Strength
Trowel-applied thickness absorbs dropped tooling and point loads that crack thin coatings.
Abrasion Resistant
Graded aggregate stands up to hard-wheeled traffic on docks, ramps, and production floors.
Sealed & Cleanable
A topcoat locks in chemical resistance and an easy-clean surface.

Epoxy Mortar Overlay — Frequently Asked Questions
When should I choose an epoxy mortar overlay instead of a coating?
When the slab is too worn, pitted, or uneven for a thin coating, or when the area sees heavy impact and point loading. The trowel-applied thickness rebuilds the surface and adds strength a coating cannot.
Can it fix a badly damaged industrial floor without replacing the slab?
In most cases, yes. We repair, level, and resurface with epoxy mortar to restore a serviceable, high-strength floor — far less disruptive and costly than tearing out and repouring concrete.
How thick is an epoxy mortar system?
It is a high-build system, typically installed from roughly 3 mm up to over 6 mm depending on the condition of the slab and the service demands. We specify the thickness after assessing the floor.
