Polished Concrete
Your existing slab, refined into a durable, low-maintenance, light-reflecting floor.
Request a QuotePolished Concrete — polished concrete flooring built for how your building actually works.
Polished concrete is created by mechanically grinding and refining the slab through progressively finer diamond abrasives, then densifying and sealing it. There is no coating to peel or delaminate — the finish is the concrete itself, hardened and polished to your chosen sheen from satin matte to mirror gloss.
It is one of the most cost-effective and sustainable commercial floors available: it reuses the slab you already have, reflects light to cut lighting costs, and needs little more than routine dust mopping to stay sharp. Popular in big-box retail, warehouses, showrooms, and institutional buildings where longevity and low upkeep matter.
Why Polished Concrete?
Extremely Low Maintenance
No wax, no coatings to recoat — just routine dust mopping and periodic burnishing keep it looking new.
Abrasion & Impact Resistant
A densified surface stands up to forklifts, pallet jacks, and constant foot traffic without wearing through.
Brighter, More Efficient Spaces
The reflective finish bounces light around the room and can reduce lighting requirements.
Sustainable & Cost-Effective
Reuses your existing slab with no added flooring material sent to landfill.

Polished Concrete — Frequently Asked Questions
Is polished concrete slippery?
Polished concrete has similar slip resistance to other hard flooring when dry, and a clean, dry surface is the goal. Where wet exposure is a concern we can apply a slip-resistant conditioner or adjust the final sheen.
Can any concrete slab be polished?
Most can, but the final look depends on the slab’s age, aggregate, and condition. We assess hardness and surface quality first; slabs with heavy damage may be better suited to an overlay or coated system, which we will tell you up front.
How is polished concrete different from an epoxy floor?
Polished concrete is the slab itself, ground and densified — nothing is added on top, so there is nothing to peel. Epoxy is a coating bonded to the slab that offers seamless chemical resistance and colour options. We recommend whichever fits your environment and budget.
